Description: | Learn how to use Kurzweil 3000 and Firefly as a solution for Alternate Media book production. Firefly is a wonderful new addition to Kurzweil. It uses a “cloud-based” book library that will speed up delivery times, and increase the access to students by utilizing Mac and PC platforms, as well as tablets. In this hands on class, you will understand how to create a production work-flow suited for your institution that will streamline acquiring, converting, editing, and delivery of electronic books to students. At the end of this training, participants will understand and be able to perform these tasks:
