This is a one-day training on the assistive computer technology (ACT) tools that are built into the Mac Operating System (OS X 10.6, SnowLeopard). Participants of this training will:
- Learn about common categories of ACT
- Get hands-on practice with different ACT�s built into Mac OS
- Gain insight into the function and use of different types of ACT in a Mac OS environment
- Learn about other options for Mac OS-based ACT
This training is intended for High Tech Center Specialists and other staff who work with AT, ACT, or Alternate Media and need a better understanding of basic ACT concepts and practices in a Mac OS environment.
