Description: This is a one-day training on the assistive computer technology (ACT) tools that are built into the Windows Operating System. Participants of this training will:
  • Learn about common categories of ACT
  • Get hands-on practice with different ACT�s built into Windows
  • Gain insight into the function and use of different types of ACT in a Windows environment
  • Learn about other options for Windows-based ACT
This training is intended for High Tech Center Specialists and other staff who work with AT, ACT, or Alternate Media and need a better understanding of basic ACT concepts and practices in a Windows environment.
Reimbursement Level: Please be advised that reimbursement is only available for travel expenses for California community college Disabled Student Services Faculty and Staff. Hotel expenses will not be reimbursed.
