The auto settings of the scanners handle most projects quite well, but what do you do with those colored backgrounds, thin papers, glossy papers, and other scanning challenges? This one-day training will explore what lies beyond the auto settings: contrast, brightness, color, etc.
Participants will be able to do the following:
- understand contrast and brightness settings
- recognize paper that may need to be scanned at less than 300 dpi
- adjust the scanner settings to drop out gray backgrounds
- recognize scanner problems on individual pages
