The Save As DAISY XML (SADX) plugin for Microsoft Word is a free downloadable tool that enables users to create DAISY XML files from Microsoft Word.
Participants of this training will learn the following:
- How to download and install the SADX Plugin for Microsoft Word
- How to use the SADX Plugin �Accessibility Toolbar�
- An overview of the different DAISY styles and how they can be used
- Best practices of formatting electronic text in Microsoft Word for DAISY conversion
- The difference between DAISY XML and DAISY Talking Books and various DAISY players
- How to create DAISY Talking Books with DAISY XML files and the Phoneticom DAISY Generator
This training is intended for Alternate Media Specialists and High Tech Center Specialists who want to learn how to take electronic text from Microsoft Word documents to full DAISY Talking Books
